Churches

We are excited to partner with your ministry to provide the CBMT program to train future ministry leaders. As the sponsoring institution, Nazarene Bible College will handle administrative duties like overseeing the qualification and selection of partner ministries, ensuring accountability by the participant ministries, and managing student records. We’ll also oversee the recruitment of pastors and sites for the program, promote training opportunities for mentors and coaches, and provide administrative support to the partner ministries as needed.

Future

NBC is looking to partner with forward-looking churches. So describe your church's mission and how you live it out. Include your ministry's growth trends and the driving force behind them.

Application

The ministry must be healthy. So outline the processes you have in place to equip the saints for ministry work. And describe the congregation's relationship and how the district supports the congregation's desire to participate in the program.

Qualifications

The CBMT program modules are consistent in workflow, which helps students achieve competency. Various elements in each module guide the training process. The mentor begins the module by introducing resources and sharing their experience. Students receive an observation opportunity. The students then see how they apply the competencies in the church context. Students receive time for questions and reflection on what they've learned.

Director

The program's site director plays a crucial role in the program's success. For one, they are the primary point of contact between NBC, the students, and mentors. Any communication between NBC and the program participants is channeled through the director. It’s also the director’s job to approve ministers to serve as mentors/coaches with whom they will work directly. The director also coordinates the mentors and trainers and oversees students' acceptance into the program.
